AI VIDEO SUMMARIZER.
TRANSCRIPT-FIRST.

Most "AI video summaries" are invented from a title. Ours start from the actual words of the video. Paste a link, get the transcript in ~2 seconds, then summarize, chat and pull verbatim quotes.

A REAL GRAB, NOT A SCREENSHOT

This is a live transcript pulled by the same engine that serves your link — from vimeo.com/76979871, 124 words, English captions, no account. This is the text the summary is built from.

HOW TRANSCRIPT-FIRST SUMMARIES WORK

Every summary is only as good as the text it starts from. We get the words first, then let the AI do its job.

01

Paste the link

Any video — YouTube, TikTok, Vimeo, a podcast episode, or a 12k-word live stream.

02

Get the real text

ClawGrab pulls the transcript in about 2 seconds. Caption-bearing videos return the publisher's captions verbatim — no hallucination possible.

03

Summarize, chat, quote

Key points, a written summary, a Q&A chat about the content, or verbatim quotes for citations and show notes.

WHAT ARE YOU ACTUALLY GETTING?

A summary you can trust, because the words came first.

📰

Journalists

Quote verbatim from interviews and press briefs. The summary gives you the gist; the transcript gives you the exact phrasing.

🧑‍🎓

Students

Skim a 45-minute lecture in 2 minutes flat — then go to the transcript for the parts that matter.

🎬

Creators

Turn a long video into chapter ideas, clips and social posts — from your own actual words.

💼

Researchers

Ask the content questions — "what did they say about pricing?" — and get answers grounded in the real text.

FAQ

The honest answers.

How is this different from other AI video summarizers?

Most summarizers build a summary from the video's title, thumbnail or a couple of seconds of audio. ClawGrab builds it from the full transcript — the publisher's captions verbatim where they exist, speech-to-text elsewhere. The summary is grounded in what was actually said.

Is the summary accurate?

Embedded in the transcript. For caption-bearing videos, the text is the publisher's own words — no invention. For no-caption videos, speech-to-text is good on clean audio but imperfect on music, accents and overlapping speech; we flag those limits instead of pretending. No honest tool can promise a perfect 100% summary.

Which platforms work?

25+ — YouTube, TikTok, Vimeo, SoundCloud, podcasts, live streams. A small share of videos block transcripts at the platform level (music, live-only, password-gated) and we report exactly what happened rather than returning garbage.

Is it free?

ClawGrab is free during the beta — unlimited grabs, no card, no account needed to start. Nothing is for sale right now.
