Which podcast platforms does it support?
Apple Podcasts episode links, podcast RSS feeds (the newest episode), podcasts on YouTube (video and audio-only channels) and SoundCloud. Spotify is not supported because its audio is protected. YouTube episodes with captions return the publisher's captions verbatim; everything else is transcribed via speech-to-text.
How accurate is podcast transcription?
YouTube with captions: verbatim. Speech-to-text (Apple Podcasts, RSS, SoundCloud, no-caption audio): good on clean studio audio — the typical podcast setup — but imperfect with music, overlapping talk and heavy noise. We tell you which source produced your text.
Does it work on live shows and long episodes?
Yes. We've pulled 12k-word transcripts from YouTube LIVE recordings. During the beta, Apple Podcasts and RSS episodes are transcribed up to the first 50 minutes; long episodes take longer.
Can I use the transcript for my own content?
Quotes, show notes and captions for your own clips: standard use. Republishing a full episode transcript commercially usually needs the host's permission — if in doubt, ask.
